I already did. It's us who decide, not Monsanto!!!

Yup, home again.

The conference was fine, but now, it's show time.

Can you believe I spent the whole day on my site? No?! Well, I did! Now I feel squeezed like a lemon and unfortunately nobody drank me to sooth his tirsth. Or thrust for that matter...

So what funny happenned to me lately?

Well, the only thing I can think of in the moment, is how a friend lied to me that he owns one pretty (and quite expensive) Audi and of course I ran happilly, put my face on the window and started watching inside and ... it wasn't his :( Yep. I'm so pathetic :) But it was fun, all right. (looked like on the pics, but sky blue...but I never saw the model.)

The only other thing I can come up with is how the last Friday I drank 2 glasses of wine and then 3 cocktails with 3 different types of alchohol and I didn't got drunk. Now, that's even worst. My last piece of fun is gone. Oh, well...At least, I spent a lovely, non-sexual night. But I sooo missed the roller-coaster. What's the point of drinking so much so rarely and don't get the special effects. Ah, whatever. Next time, better. Whenever it will be.

Ok, off for now as I may head starts blowing in the wrong dimension.

Bye and see ya soon.

And don't forget checking out the updates in the site I made today, cuz I spent the last 6 hours working on them.

Russia warns U.S. about missile system

By MARIA DANILOVA, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 42 minutes ago

Vladimir Putin warned that Moscow could take "retaliatory steps" if Washington proceeds with plans to build a missile defense system for Europe, including possibly aiming nuclear weapons at targets on the continent.

In an interview released Monday, Putin suggested that Russia may respond to the threat by aiming its nuclear weapons at Europe.

"If a part of the strategic nuclear potential of the United States appears in Europe and, in the opinion of our military specialists, will threaten us, then we will have to take appropriate steps in response. What kind of steps? We will have to have new targets in Europe," Putin said, according to a transcript released by the Kremlin. These could be targeted with "ballistic or cruise missiles or maybe a completely new system" he said.

On Monday, Iran's top security official called the U.S. plans for the missile defense shield a "joke," saying Iranian missiles do not have the capability to reach Europe.

"Claims by U.S. officials that installing a missile defense system in Europe is aimed at confronting Iranian missiles and protecting Europe against Iran is the joke of the year," Ali Larijani told the state-run IRNA news agency.

"The range of Iran's missiles doesn't reach Europe at all," IRNA quoted Larijani as saying in Iran's first public reaction to the plans. Larijani is secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, the country's top security decision-making body.

Putin told reporters that he hoped U.S. officials would change their minds regarding the missile plan, warning that Moscow was preparing a response.

"If this doesn't happen, then we disclaim responsibility for our retaliatory steps, because it is not we who are the initiators of the new arms race, which is undoubtedly brewing in Europe," he said.

"The strategic balance in the world is being upset and in order to restore this balance without creating an anti-missile defense on our territory we will be creating a system of countering that anti-missile system, which is what we are doing now," Putin said.

Last week, Russia tested a new ballistic missile capable of carrying multiple nuclear warheads and a new cruise missile. While Western analysts said the system has probably been under development for several years, Putin has described the test as part of Moscow's response to the U.S. anti-missile plan.

Two thousand years ago, a Roman Senator suggested that all slaves wear white armbands to better identify them.

"No," said a wiser Senator. "If they see how many of them there are, they may revolt." ++

Hi all!

i'm having quite busy month since i have to make 2 reports and to graduate, so as you can imagine, not much activity until i'm done.

I wanted to say few things before drowning into oblivion again.

First of all- i had most shocking week, last week. I got bitten, i got sick, i had a GREAT party while coughing and spitting my brain out and blowing my nose away and i had this lovely weekend. All this is not as much as personal diary, but just one litle manifestation of the power of our minds.

No matter how bad we think we are, if we find the right motivation, we can have the time of our life and meanwhile to heal our bodies. Yeah, i know it sounds kind of banal, but i experienced it. I was feeling so shitty in the Sunday morning - ill, weak, discouraged and then decided to listen to an inspirational tape(well, mp3 on the phone ) and it worked a miracle. I did my daily (ok, weekly) excercises and then got such a beautiful meditation. After which i felt better than the whole week. And i didn't change my medication or even eat a thing. It happenned all in the 2 metres from my bed.

Anyway, everyone decides for him/herself. But i was really surprised. Maybe it wasn't like instantly healing, but still, i felt like sharing that with you. Personal stories if not else serve for good inspiration sometimes.

What else? Well, i'm still strugling with my thesis and my motivation, but at least it's heading at somewhere even at that minute pace. Isn't it weird how what one finds really thrilling in the one moment becomes such a burden in the next moment? It's so true that who learns to manage his/hers states can achieve anything. I so hope i can learn that too one day.

One more thigy, not that pleasant which caught my attention:

For more info check out the next post.

My comment: I liked Putin for being tough and staying his ground, but threatening Europe? Now that's too much. I'm against any US military equipement in EU, but still, Russia should know who to bash and who to protect. EU is not its enemy even with the movement against EU's energy-dependency . I like Russia and I love Europe. It's so sad to see such hard words exchanged! Let's hope that will be all to it.
